Dear Talented RES Staff, I hope everyone had a lovely and rejuvenating five day break! I have college class today, but I look forward to seeing you on Monday!     KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Hilder, Jarred, and Heather for all their help with the feast! Jill and Rose for their help setting up and decorating! Gr. 3/4 students for helping clean up! Gr. 5/6 students for serving the food!  Important Items to Know :     SU Committee Representatives  - Every school in the SU but Reading Elementary  has a teacher representative on the two committees set up by the new superintendent to help move the unified SU forward.  It's imperative that Reading be represented so our school has a voice in upcoming change!  There is a stipend provided for the extra time.   Please complete the necessary form that came with the e-mail from the SU and let me know you are doing so.  Thank you!   Artist in Residence - Due to the amount of time ne

Dear Talented RES Staff, Two days to a well deserved 5 day break!   I am blessed to know and work with such a talented group of people who put students and student learning as their top priority!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Hilder and Heather for all their help with pie day! Classroom teachers for spearheading the pie making! Jen Mayo for running the Pie Sale!     Important Items to Know :     Welcome - We welcome Will Flynn to our staff as the 1:1 paraeducator in Gr. 1/2.  So very glad you're here and settling in!   Thanksgiving Feast  - Let's try and have as much normalcy as possible over the next two days.    PE will happen in the classrooms tomorrow.  Pre-K through 2 will be eating at 11:30 AM with families, and Gr. 3-6 will eat at noon.  There is no K-6 recess on Tuesday.   Each class will have to do their own recess.   Happening this Week :   Mon., Nov. 20  -  Art is the Special Mindfulness

Dear Talented RES Staff, It's hard to believe it's only seven days until Thanksgiving break!  It will be a busy seven days, so let's all remember to breathe, and be patient and kind to ourselves and each other ! KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Heather for providing us such incredible meals like "Rice Bowls!" Jared for always being positive and happy and willing to help! Dear Tireless RES Staff, It is so inspiring to watch our staff prepare our students for the challenges of a global world.  I will be meeting with the rest of you this week to discuss your walkthroughs and celebrate the outstanding teaching that's going on!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Heather and Lisa who helped run to parents' houses to notify them that there was no school on Monday due to power loss!
