Dear Rejuvenated RES Staff, KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Jared and Amy for all their work cleaning over the break! Amy and hubby for coming in and helping with the frozen pipes! Heather for coming in over the holidays to do the Jan. menu. Important Items to Know :     Outdoor Recess  - As a guideline, if the "real feel" temperature is below 10 degrees(Fahrenheit), we will have indoor recess.  It's too easy for students to get frostbite at those temperatures with the kinds of gloves that most students are wearing.  When in doubt, please check with Cathy or Sherry.   Staff Development - Tues., Jan. 2 is an inservice day.  As mentioned, K and 1/2 teachers do not need to participate as they put in extra time for math pd.  Please use the time as you need to in your classrooms. Book Fair  - The Book Fair is finishing this week.  Ski Runners  -  A list of students participating will be coming out next week once it's

Dear Thoughtful RES Staff, It's the last week before Christmas break, and we know that sugarplums are in abundance.  Again, please use respect tiles frequently to encourage respectful choices.  Five days until you get a well deserved break!  Breathe and practice mindfulness!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Christine and Lisa for all their hard work preparing for the concert! All of you who attended the concert Thursday evening! Kathi, Jen, Pam, and Leticia for helping out at the town hall with their class rehearsals. Important Items to Know :     Bullying Puppets in Education Field Trip  - This field trip has been rescheduled until Wed., March 21, 2018 .  We will follow the planned class schedules at that time. Secret Santa  - Kudos to Pam for stepping up and  organizing  Secret   Santa  this year and for all who participated!  Great team players make a small school!   Blog  - The next blog will be published Sun., Dec. 30.

Dear Hardworking RES Staff, I hope you all had an serene, rejuvenating weekend.  This will be a busy week - so remember to breathe and cherish the joy of the children!  Please use the "Respect" tiles to reinforce respectful behavior!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Jen, Pam, and Leticia for graciously giving up their planning period to support their students for the concert practice at the town hall!   Jill for being so flexible and helpful Wednesday when we were shorthanded! Liza and Pam for helping cover while we had a student reentry meeting! Important Items to Know :     Artist in Residence  - Art classes are being extended to the following schedule.  Classes will return to normal times next Monday! 8:00-9:00         Grades 3/4 (10 students) 9:15-9:45         Pre-K (three-year-olds, 10 students) 10:00-10:45     Kindergarten (7 students) 12:30-1:15       Grades 1/2  (13 students) 1:20-2:20        Grades 5/6

Dear Patient RES Staff, KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Jen for organizing the Snowflake Bazaar!   Lisa and Christine for all their organizing work for the concert! All the teachers who participated in the puppet building with their classes! Important Items to Know :     Artist in Residence  - Art classes are being extended to the following schedule:   8:00-9:00         Grades 3/4 (10 students) 9:15-9:45         Pre-K (three-year-olds, 10 students) 10:00-10:45     Kindergarten (7 students) 12:30-1:15       Grades 1/2  (13 students) 1:20-2:20        Grades 5/6  (12 students)   Bullying Puppets in Education Field Trip  - Our students have a wonderful field trip for our students on Wed., Dec. 13 which has been scheduled since August.  This was scheduled  before  the dates of the Artist in Residence were announced, so we will participate as follows: K/2 - 8 -9 AM Bully Prevention & Feelings Gr. 5/6 - 9:05 AM -  1
