Important Items to Know:

Last Day of School - So the last day of school has now permanently changed to Thurs., June 14. Please note, that June 13 and 14 will both be half days so you will have time to clean, organize, etc. Our retreat is Friday, June 15. We will be reviewing next year's schedule and how to best serve our students with the staff we have. Please come with an open mindset and positive attitude, comfortable clothes. Please let me know if you are NOT planning on attending the retreat.

Grade Level Configurations 2018-19 - The final deadline for pre-school sign-up is May 31. Next Sunday, June 3, 2018, a Google Doc will be shared with all staff sharing the data that has been gathered t\so far for the recommended 2018-19 Grade Level configurations. Many of you have shared your thoughts with me, and that has been taken into consideration. If you have not shared your thoughts, please feel free to send me an e-mail or set up a time to meet so we can discuss. The findings will be shared fully at the staff meeting on Tuesday, June 5, as well as the proposed configurations. As a team, we will have a conversation using a Critical Friends Protocol, which will allow equitable airtime for all. We know that next year brings changes, and being like willow trees we will flow and bend as needed to make this a successful learning environment for our students. After our discussion I will be speaking with the superintendent to share my final decision before announcing it to parents and the community.

Ordering for 2018-19 - I will be sharing a Google Doc. with each of you AFTER grade level configurations are determined for you to start your ordering process on. Please use the template I send you. Bookkeeping is changing with the district merger.

Grades/Report Cards - All specials teachers should have their grades into VCAT by Friday, June 8. Teachers should have their grades in by Monday, June 11 at the 3 PM so I can review them before they are printed.

Summer Packets - If you are sending home "summer packets" for students - please put a copy in the principal's mailbox.

Last Two Half Days - Since the last two days are half days, recess will be 11 - 11:20, and lunch will be 11:20 - 11:50 AM.
