Dear Caring  Staff, KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Glen Drost for writing his PE blurbs. Everyone who has met with me or sent me your goals as requested. Dear Steadfast   Staff, It's a full harvest moon on Monday!  Let's all take care of ourselves!       KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   The staff who kindly and patiently participated in the "Emergency Management" practices Tuesday after the Staff Meeting!   The staff helping with Reading Runners! Paitra for teaching a cooking class in the Afterschool program! Dear Resilient  Staff, It's been a super busy and hot seven days of school.   I want to acknowledge everyone's hard work as we strive together to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.  We were all exhausted on Friday, so hopefully everyone had a chance to refresh and recharge!  It won't be as hot this week, so it will be easier for all!              KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Glen for coming in on the 1st day of school AND Tuesday so students could meet him! Dear Incredible Staff, Thank to all of you who have "labored" so hard to get ready for this school year!  It's going to be a fantastic year!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Patty and Jen for helping teach specific recess expectations. Pam for helping out with the after school program! Important Items to Know : Emergency Drills  - According the State of Vermont, we are to have a fire drill every  month .     We will have a lockdown drill this Friday, so review those drills please.  Specials teachers please check with the office if you have any questions.   Maintenance Requests  - PLEASE use the form, do not put "notes" in Jared's box.  I take your requests and add them to a list for him.  The forms help with consistency and help insure that the small pieces of paper don't get lost. Dear Amazing RES Staff, As many of you know, I'm en route back to Vermont from my 40th high school reunion.  There's nothing like a reunion to help put life into perspective.  We had so many shared smiles when we mentioned particular teachers and staff who touched our lives those many years ago.   The impact YOU have on other's lives is immeasurable!   We welcome our new staff to our RES family!   It's going to be a fantastic year!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Pam B. for being in charge Friday in my absence! Dear Unbelievable RES Staff, The last four days can sometimes seem like the longest, but try and "cherish" each sweet moment with your students and each other this week.  We will not all walk together again in the same way!  Remember to BREATHE!!!  Here's an interesting Edutopia article about end of year stress  and some helpful suggestions.
