KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":  
  • Lisa, Beth Ann, Sherry, Pam B., Pam S., Jenn, Kathi F., and Patty who were here for "Back to School" night!
  • All the hard work and preparation that teachers and staff put in to get their rooms ready for parent visits!   
  • Beth Ann Ann for all her work advertising, setting up, and running the Yard Sale.
  • Beth Ann for baking dozens of cupcakes and decorating them with the 1/2 and K class for the Yard Sale.
  • Heather for helping prepare the tea and lemonade for the Back to School Night.

NEWS FROM Linda L - WCSU HR 
  • HEALTH INS. - The president of VEHI, Laura Soures, will be presenting an informational power point on the new health plans that will be offered by VEHI coming in January of 2018.  The meeting will take place at the WUHSMS Auditorium at 3:00 pm on 10/18/16.  We would love for as many of our employees to be able to attend this meeting.  This will be open to both the teaching staff and support staff. If your teachers have other scheduled commitments such as time with Kathy Ernst or Amy Toth, those meetings should take priority.  We will be sure to get the information out to those that want it but were unable to attend.  If you should have any questions please contact myself, Alice or Richard Seaman.  Thank you all!
Teachers - Literacy Reminder - Thurs., Oct. 13 - Teachers will meet with Aimee a minimum of 45 min. A sub is scheduled for that day so you can have your planning time at another time. Please work with Libbet on scheduling that.

Dear Dedicated Staff, It's hard to believe this is the last staff blog  of  the school year.  Thank you for taking the time  to read  it even though you are crazy busy with end of year items.   I want to commend those of you who are ALWAYS professional and focused on students, and kind and courteous to your colleagues and myself.  We all have an exhausting job, but it's time for a well deserved rest.   Change is always a challenge.  I applaud those of you who accept and welcome change with a  positive  attitude and as an opportunity for growth.  I hope you have a rejuvenating summer.  I'd love to have our returning staff over to my home for a cook-out in late August.   I'll be sending out an e-mail to those of you who check it.  I'll be in and out throughout the summer, so don't  hesitate  to text me if you have any questions.   We wish Beth Ann, Libbet, Greg, and Pam the best as they begin their next leg of life's journey!  You will be missed!

Dear Dynamic Staff, I was at my UVM library class this weekend and am reminded how blessed I am to work in such a small but caring school.  The book that we're currently reading is called Best Schools by Thomas Armstrong, and it is what our school culture resonates naturally.  KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Heather for "filling in the holes" whenever we're shorthanded! Sherry for subbing in K when we were short a sub!   Pam S. for helping with lunch duties w/the skiers on Fridays!
