Dear Dedicated RES Staff,

Hope each of you had a great winter break.  I had lots of homework to do but took a few days off with Earl to relax.  See you tomorrow!

Important Items to Know:    

 No Guidance or Mindfulness this Week - So Sue M. will now only be coming monthly.  Jill was supposed to come in Monday but is ill.  So there will be no guidance this week.

 Staff Change - Sadly Will has given two weeks notice and we wish him nothing but the best.  If anyone knows of anyone looking for a position, please tell them to apply on Schoolspring.  I have contacted the Central Office for assistance in finding someone through HCRS.

Behavioral Consultant - Many of you know Tammy Myers.  She will be in sporadically over the next few weeks to coach us with behaviorally challenging students.

                    Dear Dedicated Staff, It's hard to believe this is the last staff blog  of  the school year.  Thank you for taking the time  to read  it even though you are crazy busy with end of year items.   I want to commend those of you who are ALWAYS professional and focused on students, and kind and courteous to your colleagues and myself.  We all have an exhausting job, but it's time for a well deserved rest.   Change is always a challenge.  I applaud those of you who accept and welcome change with a  positive  attitude and as an opportunity for growth.  I hope you have a rejuvenating summer.  I'd love to have our returning staff over to my home for a cook-out in late August.   I'll be sending out an e-mail to those of you who check it.  I'll be in and out throughout the summer, so don't  hesitate  to text me if you have any questions.   We wish Beth Ann, Libbet, Greg, and Pam the best as they begin their next leg of life's journey!  You will be missed!

                    Dear Hardworking  Staff, KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Paitra for cooking corn muffins for the Community forum. Pam and her son for helping provide childcare. Kathi F., Lisa K. for attending Thurs. night's presentation.                     Dear Dynamic Staff, I was at my UVM library class this weekend and am reminded how blessed I am to work in such a small but caring school.  The book that we're currently reading is called Best Schools by Thomas Armstrong, and it is what our school culture resonates naturally.  KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Heather for "filling in the holes" whenever we're shorthanded!
