RES PRINCIPAL'S BLOG TO STAFF - Sun., Feb. 4, 2018
Dear Dedicated RES Staff,
Only 10 LONG days until a well-deserved break! Hope you have a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday!
KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":
- Patty for sending in your blurb for the Valentine's Day Basket raffle!
- Leticia for covering remaining Gr. 5/6 students so Cathy can help at Ski Runners.
- All of you who met and shared your knowledge with the Barnard staff!
Important Items to Know:
Mama Mia Raffle - Please ask students for the raffle tickets and money! The dinner is next Sunday. If you'd like to help, you're always welcome!
We realize that many of you may have family and personal obligations that may make attending this evening event difficult. To that end, we'll also be showing the film immediately after our scheduled faculty meeting on Monday, February 5th. Attendance to both events is optional. On the 5th, our plan is to get the movie started no later than 4:30 pm. It has a run time of 86 minutes. We'll be serving soup, pizza and salad for those who plan to stay.
Innovation in Learning - The Innovation in Learning study group wants to invite you to an exciting community event taking place on Thursday, February 8th at the Woodstock Town Hall Theater. We'll be showing the documentary "Most Likely to Su cceed". The film is a documentary connected to the book by the same title by Tony Wagner and Ted Dintersmith. It makes an urgent call for the re-imagining of American education. The showing of the film will be followed by a panel discussion.
Here are some details.
