Dear Resilient RES Staff,

 Last week was a topsy turvy one, but now the schedule starts to normalize. Your clocks should have been set ahead already thanks to Amy H.!  








KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":

  • All of you who did the surveys and completed the Title 1 Info. that were requested in last week's blog!  
  • Lisa K. for agreeing to be on the "Profile of a Graduate" committee to represent the RES community.
Important Items to Know:

Behavioral Consultant - As many of you know, Will's last day was Friday.  Starting Monday, Sherry Sousa has arranged for a para named "Ms. Vaughn" to work with our 1:1 student in Gr. 2.  She will be working in the Guidance office on MWF 8-10 AM.  Guidance will move to  the Special Ed. room during that time on Wed. and Fri.  

Summer Soak - There are many wonderful Summer Soak opportunities being offered.  If you know of a student who should go, or has gone in the past, encourage them to get their registrations in as soon as possible.

                    Dear Dedicated Staff, It's hard to believe this is the last staff blog  of  the school year.  Thank you for taking the time  to read  it even though you are crazy busy with end of year items.   I want to commend those of you who are ALWAYS professional and focused on students, and kind and courteous to your colleagues and myself.  We all have an exhausting job, but it's time for a well deserved rest.   Change is always a challenge.  I applaud those of you who accept and welcome change with a  positive  attitude and as an opportunity for growth.  I hope you have a rejuvenating summer.  I'd love to have our returning staff over to my home for a cook-out in late August.   I'll be sending out an e-mail to those of you who check it.  I'll be in and out throughout the summer, so don't  hesitate  to text me if you have any questions.   We wish Beth Ann, Libbet, Greg, and Pam the best as they begin their next leg of life's journey!  You will be missed!

                    Dear Hardworking  Staff, KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Paitra for cooking corn muffins for the Community forum. Pam and her son for helping provide childcare. Kathi F., Lisa K. for attending Thurs. night's presentation.                     Dear Dynamic Staff, I was at my UVM library class this weekend and am reminded how blessed I am to work in such a small but caring school.  The book that we're currently reading is called Best Schools by Thomas Armstrong, and it is what our school culture resonates naturally.  KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Heather for "filling in the holes" whenever we're shorthanded! Sherry for subbing in K when we were short a sub!   Pam S. for helping with lunch duties w/the skiers on Fridays!
