Dear Dedicated Staff, Unbelievable -  only 11 1/2 student days left!  Let's be present with our students and ENJOY the time with them - this is the time for memory making.  Let's remember to breathe and cherish the time with them AND each other!   Here's an interesting thought from Eric Jensen who was a keynote speaker at a Vermont's Principal's Conference last summer.  For those of you who want to know more about Eric Jenson's Brain-Based Teaching, you can learn more  HERE .   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Jen and Pam for their work organizing the flag remembrance for Memorial Day. Dear Hardworking Staff, Wow, only 16 1/2 student days left!  Ambivalence abounds - many of us are exhausted and ready for summer and some downtime, on the other hand  there's so much left to teach, and how we'll miss them!  Enjoy the time you have with them!  Try and get outdoors as much as possible though with your classes!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Pam and Jen for attending the guidance interview after the EST Meeting Monday! Jen, Libbet, Liza, and Heather for holding down the fort with 5 subs in the  building!  Patty for her work organizing the Nature's Classroom field trip! Important Items to Know :     GUIDANCE CANDIDATE  - We have a guidance candidate that will be coming in to work the students on Wed. where we can observe her interacting with the students.  We have asked her to teach a lesson to every grade level.  I have shared with you a Google Doc with you to have your class meet with her.  Please w

Dear Hardworking Staff, To all of our mothers on staff, may your day be relaxing and memorable!   And you are all mothers during the SCHOOL day!!!!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Sherry for helping drive PK to swimming Lisa, Elaine, and Christine who attended the Superintendent's Retirement Party Patty and Jenn for all their efforts implementing the SBACS Important Items to Know :     SBAC  - So Gr. 3/4 continues testing this week.  It's important that no one interrupt them when they are testing.  The door will have "testing" signs on it when the testing is active.  Please do not call into her room unless it is an emergency!   RADIO REMINDER  - If you're going outside with students - that's great!   PLEASE take a radio for safety sake.  (That includes recess and planting...) Dear Hardworking Staff, It's Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week and yet the best way to appreciate you'all is to give you a day off this week and we can't do that!  SO please accept the small tokens of our appreciation for all that you do and know that each of you are appreciated for WHO you are and HOW you make our school what it is!   KUDOS to STAFF Who "Stepped Up":   Christine and Lisa for true collaboration designing and preparing our students and school for the Spring Concert. Pam B. for attending the MTSS conference with me! Heather for preparing a pre-concert soup dinner for teachers & staff!
